Can the source of the "flickr photo viewer" widget be published as an example widget so that everyone can do cool things with it? I personally want a widget that only shows photos based on my own criteria, with my own tweaks. Rather than reinvent the wheel, it would make sense to extend from the widget that already exists.

If for some reason it can't be made public, please share details about what API or third-party code was used so I have a starting point.
