Topic: LocationFree Player and/or SlingPlayer for Chumby

Hello, I am a Slingbox user and a Sony LocationFree user. 

Since Sling allows streaming of "your" tv from both the SlingPlayer application and by the Sling.com website, would it be possible to make an App that could stream TV to the Chumby and/or Sony Dash? 

How about the Sony LocationFree player?  Since sony makes both the LocationFree base station and players, as well as the Sony Dash (which uses Chumby Apps), shouldn't Chumby/Dash be able to receive video from the Base Player?

Looking around on Google:
"The SlingBox doesn't provide a decent API and the streams are encrypted, which makes it unusable for 3rd party products."

There is a way of getting TV on Chumby though. If you have a PC with a TV tuner card then the ORB TV widget works pretty well (ORB is like a software version of Slingbox). Though I think there's been a problem with the orb widgets recently...

The video quality is about the same as the YouStreams widget.
