Topic: Wi-fi Off Sleep Mode

The battery in the Chumby One is great. Really Great. The only problem is that even on night mode, with the screen off, it doesn't last exceptionally long. How practical would it be to have a low-power mode designed to last 6-7 hours in the event of a power outage or loose cord? I was thinking it would enter the mode 15 minutes or so after going into sleep mode, and restarting 15 minutes before an alarm is set to go off? It would have to be a separate option to use only when specifically desired. I know it would ease my fears to know that even with a lack of power, my chumby would still wake me up in the morning. What do you think?
