It has been years since i did nothing for my little chumby.

I fixed some functions and now it can work from a non existing url_streams file.

get the last package here : http://sites.google.com/site/chumbyproject/Home

does an admin can tell me if there is an internet server to put my package in (my personal server is at home and experiences troubles evertime)

thanks but gforge seems to be buggy, it never sends me confirmation email so i cannot register my account

I tried create another one in case of I had misspelled my email address but it does not work either so I think it is on the gforge side.

and updated my previous posts (just in case someone is still interested in this stuff who knows).

are you going on with the work and add more feaures to edit perhaps all screens and function via local net?

not everything can be edited easily.
It's been a while I did not coded anything for the chumby, it usage is limited to my alarm clock and Meteo service with some facebook and Flickr photo album.

I wanted to add the possibility to manage playlists and random playback.

Just tell what kind of functionality you think it would be useful and I see if it can be implemented.

everything in alarm.
most in mymusic like delete or add music-source (for example pandore can´t be used here in germany, so it could be deletet oder deativated in the chumby and perhaps again be reactivated via net. now its just possible to edit music_order-file
(my chumby one has the german interface so i don´t know anymore the words used for this in english)

yes  i miss the function for podcasts - it works with mediafly, but i have to create an account there and it could be played direct with the chumby one. i hope for the next firmware
