Topic: Internet Radio

I have read through all the posts re the above and have a couple of questions:

1) Anybody know how to add a radio station to the Chumby by way of URL?
2) I have downloaded Slimserve software and set it up on my PC, but the Chumby does not seem to recognise it. Anybody got a set of instructions as to how?

thanks in advance

Re: Internet Radio

Are you using the beta Control Panel (see the Beta Software section of the forum)?

Hi - yes I am.

Re: Internet Radio

Well, to add a station, you select the "My Streams" music source, then the "New" button, and you fill in the form.  Touch the text area to bring up the virtual keyboard.

For SlimServer, you'll need to be sure that the software is running properly and the necessary ports are open on any firewall you may have running.  You should check to see if you can access the SlimServer's web interface from another computer to verify.

There's some more info on using SlimServer in this thread:
