Topic: Online FLV transcoders?

I know of

http://vixy.net/

But what are some of the (free) online transcoders that can transcode FLV (and others) to FLV?

It would be nice to get a profile for FLV that works best for the Chumby, then transcode all the videos on the fly through it before they play.

Re: Online FLV transcoders?

Cool, now that we have a few options, now its time to see what encoding works best for the chumby? Anyone want to post some findings?

I know the Movies on YouTube eventually loose audio/video sync so I am guessing they are too high of bitrate. Animations seem to be better but again, still loose sync towards the end of a 30 minute clip.

Re: Online FLV transcoders?

Flash 8 or (On2VP6) is supported by the Chumby/Flash Lite 3 but generally is more processor intensive. I'd like to know what the buffer length on the YouTube Player is as I bet they would probably play smoother if they were buffered a bit longer.
